Smooth suspension bike?
I am Pradeep from Kerala. Current bike is 2 year old Honda Trigger CBS. I like this bike except it's rear suspension. It is really hard. I am traveling around 40 kms per day. Dr advised me to avoid bike riding due to lower back pain. (Car is not suited for my field work) Most of the roads are very bad. So I am looking to purchase another bike with smooth suspension. I am 5.3 in height, so need a smaller saddle height, 100, 125 or 150 cc, main concern is it suspension.

Before you take the plunge, have you tried adjusting the monoshock at the rear to your comfort?Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Re: Smooth suspension bike?
Yes. Tried 3 settings (soft, medium and hard) also replaced it once. (Costly around 2800/-). Any suggestions about reconditioning ?Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostQuery approved!

Re: Smooth suspension bike?
Since you have replaced it already in the past, reconditioning wouldn't be needed. Do you sit on the bike with a hunched back?Originally posted by pradeeppk View PostYes. Re: Smooth suspension bike?
No, always in upright position, what about slightly lean forward posture like apache or hunk , if it help I need to replace my handlebar with a shorter one.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostSince you have replaced it already in the past, reconditioning wouldn't be needed. Re: Smooth suspension bike?
Go with a 125cc. Check out Yamaha Saluto or the Honda Shine. Both are designed to be as good commuters with no fancy things. Comfort level is also high.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
