    Hi,

    3. Height- 6'1"
    4. Weight-87
    5. Intended usage: weekend rides, office
    6. Fuel Efficiency requirement :35-40
    7. City & Highway percentage: 70:30
    8. Approximate Daily / Monthly running: 1500 per month.
    9. City / Town /Village of residence :chennai
    10. Brand / Bike type preference: suzuki Gixxer sf, hornet,Yamaha r15 S,Duke 200.

Currently iam using cbz xtreme(2009) during floods my bike is completely sincked in water for 3 days. After 10 days I have sent to showroom as I have insurance coverage. Iam planning to sell it off after it got repaired. Mean while iam seriously searching for my next ride. Iam totally confused between sf and hornet. I have test ridden the sf and i felt is good but iam having a concern regarding ground clearance and seat height . Iam waiting for hornet to arrive showroom for a test ride.

I personally like r15 but will it suit me??? Guys please suggest me. I need to book a bike with in 5 days.

    Query Approved

I think the Hornet will be the most comfortable motorcycle for you to ride.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      Hi Monk,

      Thank you for approving.

Hornet is still not available for test ride in Chennai.

Do you know the seat height of the hornet. I think it is higher than the gixxer and fz version 2.0.

Hi Vish, have you decided on anything yet?
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

I think if you have duke 200 in your list then you should consider that bike for test....... I am pretty sure u havent tesr rode otherwise you would have gotten spell bound with the performance and booked it....😂...anyways please think about duke...its really an upgrade in handling and power...a real upgrade....

Hi maxi first of all thank you for your response. I do like the Duke and I test rode the bike for a short spin. Performance was mind blowing. With in few seconds it reached 100 kmph. I was very much pleased with bike. But my major concerns are the running costs and maintenance. It has a decent seat height as well.

Maintainence is not that heavy on pocket...i have a new 220f and often need to go to showroom so as far as have been able to know there is not much problem with the duke...its quite a happy bike...best of luck....

For a fact, This would be called a replacement and not an upgrade.
P.s In the same dilemma but shifting to a minimum 180 cc bike. Don't know which though.
