Query Approved
The Gixxer should be sufficiently powerful for your usage methinks!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Re: Planning to buy a new bike next month
Hi,
Definitely rs200 is a looker but as you will be mostly riding in city so IMO go for R15 it has better maneuverability in traffic. It will fulfill your desire for a faired bike, has a good power delivery and also a descent mileage.
But Just as a suggestion if the traffic density is high then a naked bike would be much better to control than fully faired bike.Cheers,

Re: Planning to buy a new bike next month
AS is good option. Wait for Jan 20 for Apache 200.Originally posted by suvam dash View PostHey, thank you for your...advice.....the reason am not opting for the r15 is its aggressive seating position...I don't find that comfortable....what about the as 200?? Is it a good option?
My suggestion is to go with Honda Hornet. For Better engine Reliability.

Re: Planning to buy a new bike next month
Ya even I was thinking abt that....the apache 200 will be launched in a few days...but then its newly launched bike...so its not advisable to buy that bike soon after its launch....so I think I have to choose between the rs 200 and the gixxer sf...but then will the more kerb weight of the rs 200 matter in city traffic?? And am more inclined towards the rs 200 because it has more power than the gixxer sf..and the gixxer sf produces only 14.8 PS of power..:-(

"Jaa Suvam, khareed le RS!"
It's only a matter of time till you get used to the weight. Maybe a month at max. Yes, you won't be able to glide through the traffic as easily as you'd on a naked bike; but then what's the point in discussing that if your heart yearns for a fully faired bike?

Re: Planning to buy a new bike next month
Go for the RS200.its a brilliant bike.and also you get fuel injection.Gixxer is good but its a 150 cc.since you mentioned power ,after riding gixxer if you rode rs it's definitely gonna bug u considering the power is more in rs.regarding maneuvering in city it's just a matter of time you get used to.once you reach speeds of 20+ the bike doesn't feel that heavy and you can easily move it around in city.frankly speaking both the bikes cannot be compared as one is city commuter and the other is brute power and impressive top end.but if you don't want to buy the bike for weight then I would say don't think such.its just a matter of time when u get used to it.
