    Query Approved

Isn't that the bike which was launched a couple of weeks back by Bajaj? I doubt if many have hit the market to get any information about them. And even less likely that many xBhpians would have got it, to be able to advise about it.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

        Re: Bajaj CT100B

It's recently announced and they don't have this bike in the list of two wheeler in their site. So I assume they are not available as of today. From where did you get the quotation? If it's from a dealer, you can ask them when they will be available.

Pricing is very attractive, just about 1k-2k price difference between TVS XL100.

CT100B is stripped down version of CT100 and the engine of CT100 (not B) is from last generation Platina. I don't know whether Boxer too shared the same engine or not.

YES the quote is from the dealer only and it is readily available in my city(Trichy,Tamilnadu)
the guranteed milage will be around 75kmpl (said by the sales person)
i have seen the bike in flesh.it is pretty good
i want to know about the engine is that the same engine as in kawasaki/kbajaj boxer.?
          is that worth the buy?
(now my ride is pulsar150 which clocked over 44k kms and having some serious power loss)

            Wow!!! It's already available.
Mileage is depends on your riding style, there is no guarantee. Don't go by sales person's pitch, they may even say that bike will sing and dance.
If you ever get to ride @ 40kmph with little to no use of brake/clutch, you may even get 90kmpl.
Yeah, it seems like the spec of Boxer and CT100 (wrt engine displacement) identical.
Definition of "worth" will differ from person to person. So you be the judge of that.
Are you sure you would be okay with this bike? After all you're riding P150? There will be huge drop in every aspect like braking, power, torque, suspension etc...

              Re: Bajaj CT100B

The p150 is my college time bike now there is a lag in the life and some financial crisis that's why I'm in the idea of changing the bike.
The main reason is the milage point of view.
I want some first hand suggestions from xbhp members who own CT100B.

As you already know, it's new, no one would have first hand experience. Take a test ride and see if it's good. By the way, Paytm gives 5k cashback for Bajaj bikes. There may be a catch, read T&C if you're interested to go that route.

As per my experience the new ct100 is very very very smooth as compared to splendour tested under spees 0-50kmph speed. Because I have own both of them.

                          Hi Guys,
I am posting to report on the condition of my CT100B after around 6 months of use and 1 servicing.
The bike is an excellent ride with good control and agility. The only issue i find sometime is that with someone sitting on backseat if you accelerate too fast the front wheel goes up in the air! Happened twice with me. Other than that i am covering 55 KM daily without any issue in full traffic conditions. The bike maneuvers easily and is stable on low speeds.

I have been tracking the FE diligently and found that i am getting good fuel efficiency (60-70) on average.

I am due for my second service this weekend and will report back on the cost. I also purchased an AMC during first servicing and i am not sure if these are actually worth while.
