  • I Need your opinion and suggestions - RC vs Duke

Hello guys, im pruthvi and im new to this forum, im thinking on buying an rc 200 in few months and i need your views and suggestions on it, i like naked bikes much better and interested in duke as well, but i see quite a lot of duke's on streets and rc's lot less, so im looking forward for an rc. what would be your suggestion!!?

    Query Approved

Buy the bike you want, not what is more common in the market or not.

You have to ride your own bike and maintain it, not anyone else on the street!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Personally Duke is a street naked bike and works good in city and on small highway runs while RC is a full flared bike which does wonders on highways and tracks.

I like duke for being friendly towards it's rider, comfort seating (rider not pillion) and hands wont tire down after a while, it's fun bike to ride on everyday without taxing your body in anyway.
I dislike rc for being too sporty, hands do tire down in short rides, it's more of a track tool and not a machine to do daily rides on, but it's a fun bike for those who like sporty bikes but the bike is unforgiving to everyone not used to the bike and after even getting used to the bike, it just plan old hurts your body overall in someway or another. Would not go for it unless you really want to.

So verdict is simple, go for a test ride on both the duke and rc at least for 10 km then decide which one you would like to spend money on that will become your daily ride for years to come.. Hope this helps.

Duke is more of a track oriented naked street bike wherein the RC is more suitable among the two for longer distances. The fairings aid in countering the crosswinds.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

because you're a badass Pruthvi and a badass must have a bike that stands out from the rest, not a common one.
