  • A New Beginning....!! Fellow riders please Help...!!

    hello guys,

I learnt how to drive a bike way back in 2009 but didnt really get on with it in the following years, i always had problems with clutch release and choosing he right gear shifts. few months back i started riding again, since then i have been pretty good, been riding in city and highway and gained enough confidence to take up he religion of bikeism. I have been riding my uncle's and my friend's bikes regularly and have decided to get myself one. I have my eye on the following bikes.

    1. CB Hornet 160r
    2. Suzuki Gixxer (naked )
    3. Apache RTR 180 abs (just for the abs)

P.S : I have only ridden bikes like passion pro, Splendor, HF deluxe and about 5-10 kms on pulsar 180 and FZ s each. I will take a test drive of the above said bikes but would like to knw from the experts as to which one should i choose. Thanks in advance. I also have doubts regarding 150 and 160 cc bikes as to whether they are difficult to drive compared to 100 and 120 cc ones ? forgive me if i sound too novice...!!

    Query Approved

Before you start let me tell you that you ride and not drive motorcycles Everything else is perfectly fine!

Both the Hornet and Gixxer are good bikes for a beginner. Take a test ride of both and decide. You will not have any problems riding these bikes, neither is frighteningly powerful, provided you ride sensibly and responsibly.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Hornet and FZ are two very good bikes for new riders for their less fussy and no-nonsense riding dynamics. Else, go for a 125cc which is a mix of power and FE and are easy to maintain and manage.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

If you want a good bike that will serve you for ages (5-10 yrs) hassle free ... I would suggest the FZ.

But we need more information dude. What else are you looking for ...

Is pillion comfort important ... then go for Hornet as the FZ has split seats and Gixxer has taller seat.

Check which one fits your heights and rests you comfortably.

All of them will give you around 50 KMPL and have low maintenance costs.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.
