    Hi, bikers,

    Query Approved

The Bajaj V sounds like an interesting proposition. Though i would wait for a few ride reviews to come in before finalizing on it. The Unicorn is also a tried and tested comfortable commuter.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Stretch a little and add FZ-FI to your list. Otherwise, the Unicorn twins are safe bets.

              Hi friends,

              Appreciate the responses.

I planned for Gixxer, but the problem is it will be difficult for my parents to sit on pillion seat because of the Height of the pillion seat. Same goes for FZ and Hornet.

This was the reason to plan for the Avenger 150 / Bajaj V

Also I am in my teens, so looking for lil good looking/ good style bikes.. So didnt consider TVS victor and also kept shine at last preference.

Is Avenger Street 150 worth buying? Dealer says it will give 45 kmpl mileage and i think cruiser will be lil comfortable as well. Am i correct?
Also I have heard that Bajaj Engines are not good over long time? Is that true?

              Looking forward to your suggestions.
              Thanks

Go with Honda in that case.
it has great pillion comfort and is very much tried and tested.

                      Heart and mind V/s circumstances..

                      Hi, bikers,
I am from Mumbai. I am stuck in making a decision since a long time for purchasing a bike..

There are 2 options which are in front of me..

1st : I am getting 5 months old.. 1500 kms driven Suzuki gixxer sf at 77k from a dealer near by my area..

2nd : Option to buy new avenger street 150 at 86k.

My heart is stuck at gixxer sf.. Because of the looks and the performance and overall reviews in multiple threads in xbhp..

My circumstances are i'll have to travel with my parents at times to drop them at nearby places.. Also my other half (gf) is short in height.. So for both of them it will b difficult to site in pillion seat because of seat height..
Also is it wise to buy 2nd hand bike?

The avenger solves this issue.. Also I believe that cruiser will b Lil more comfortable for regular sales job I.e for frequent travelling (only my thinking)
I also doubt bajaj in reliability and performance over years...

So I need your advice in making decision.

I am a normal rider who will ride at 50 to 60 kmph.
Heart and mind stuck at gixxer sf bt circumstances says avenger suits all the requirements..

The Avenger 150 will be more comfortable esp when you have someone in the pillion,it really helps a lot in being much better, but you might feel it to be a bit underpowered.I would advice you to look at the Honda CB Hornet 160R which looks really good and would be more reliable than Bajaj,But Spare parts cost a premium.GiXXeR SF's Fairing and that heavier front end might be a big hindrance and tiring to drive in city traffic,A Naked bike will be best suited for your preference. You can also look at the normal GiXXeR

Only problem for naked gixxer or hornet.. Pillion seat height.. No other concerns..

It's the same for the naked and faired siblings, right? If SF works for you, so should naked Gixxer too.
But if you so like the SF, go for it.
