Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

To suggest anything concrete we would need more data as to what exactly is it that you are looking for in a bike ....

We have a new Hornet in our family. What I can tell you from that experience is ... there is no matching the pillion comfort on that bike. Remember that, though an R15S has a better seat than the R15 it still is no-where as comfortable as the nakeds.

The RS200 Standard will again cost you more than the Hornet.

If it were me I'd scout until I can find a showroom with a Hornet AVLB if these are the only two options you have in mind.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

Are you looking for a bike with good amount of pillion comfort??

If that's the case then I would suggest to go with Hornet CBS, Bajaj V15, Avenger 150 or 220 cruise.

RS and R15 are bikes made for more performance then pillion comfort.

If you are looking for performance bike with pillion comfort then I would rate bikes this way:-

        1. Apache RTR 200 4V
        2. R15 S
        3. RS 200
        4. Duke 200
        5. RC 200 (Least Comfort)

Like someone said above, check out other showrooms for the availability of Hornet. If it is no where available, then go for R15s.
I am suggesting R15s cause you chose a Jap bike in the first place and RS is no where near the Japs in terms of engine smoothness, reliability and build quality.
The fairing in RS starts to vibrate within one month of purchase no matter how many double sided tape you apply, and I have never seen a pulsar whose engine worked fine after 2-3 years of ownership, they all had to be rebuilt.
So R15s is your best bet. It might not be as comfortable as the hornet, but it will be equally reliable and niggle free.

          Take test rides and decide.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
