    What-Bike Query Approved.
Do post an introduction of yourself, in "Who are you" section too...

Anyhow, CB Hornet 160R should be a good choice for you, for all your needs.

Also, if you wish to save some money from the 1 Lac budget, you can also go for Yamaha FZ version 2.0 Fi (make sure its V2 and Fi) or Discover 150S (or 150F for half fairing).
Both of these should give you a solid mileage, better then expectations, along with comparatively comfortable seats for pillion... thus completing all your needs. Do test FZ's pillion seat just to be sure.

You can go for recently launched AS200 for more power than all these bikes, but let someone test the pillion seat, because I doubt its comfortable enough.. Same for Pulsar 220F. Test its pillion seat. And both these bikes will barely borderline the 40 kmpl mark if you ride well.
Similarly, Gixxer SF suffers with higher ride height for pillion, so test it if its ok by you or your lady pillion...

For your height ,weight and requirement of good pillion seat for lady only two options are good 1.hornet 160r
      2.pulsar 220f
If it is strictly 80% city then hornet would be a good option as it is lighter and more flickable than 220 along with better efficiency and Honda reliability. If highway riding is more frequent then 220 is the one.

Hornet 160R suits all your requirements buddy. Moreover you get Honda reliability and engine refinement. Do keep us updated! All the best!

+1 for Honda Hornet. Fits all your requirements and Hondas are always reliable and build to last.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Thank you guys for your suggestions. Also please feel free to suggest any other bike in this price segment which may suit my requirement. I like the looks of the Gixxer SF and it is definitely a good bike, but it looks small when a tall rider rides it.

Re: Bike under 1 lakh segment

I am 6.0' and both yamaha yzf-fz 2.0 and suzuki gixxer were comfortable in heavy traffic.
I would suggest you the Suzuki gixxer for its quality built and awesome mileage(unless you redline)
Note : go for a test ride make sure you don't get "back pain" take time to buy your perfect matching machine!
Honda CB unicon160 is the other bike I can suggest you. Nothing can beat the smoothness of Honda unicon I guess😅😉

Why not apache 200? Beats all of them hands down, even in pricing. 89900/- ex showroom

Re: Bike under 1 lakh segment

I took test rides of Honda Hornet and Gixxer SF today. I found Gixxer SF more fun to ride. The pillion seat is short on both bikes, but on Hornet it is shorter 😀
