    @naptrap: Extra gear means lot of shifting gears in city?!!! What's the relation between number of gears and need to shift gear?

    Test ride a GS150, the top gear is comfortable at 30kmph even.

    But yes, finding a good secondhand Unicorn at fair price is damn difficult. EIther they are too old, or too costly.

I puled the bike forward from a U turn at 10 KMPH in 3rd... without a jerk and was thinking that I was in 2nd until I looked a the console...

      logically a 6th clog mean totally revised gear ratios... so taller gearing is my understanding based on riding the RD and R15.. both wherein multiple shifts were required... call it my bad luck that I applied the same logic without riding the GS...

            Lets not get into this here. Everyone here have friends and most friends have bikes and each one of them have their own experiences, dont they?

                Gs150r

                Own a GS150R and a Unicorn and driven Pulsar for years ..

                GS150R : tall bike, fuel efficient and a pleasure to drive , I'll say its a unicorn with latest gadgets and gears are fine, no problem, u can use 6th at 40kmph without knocking

                Unicorn : Smoothest bike but a bit outdated (I've a 5 yr old, had to change its piston once)

                Pulsar : everyone has it, its your call if you want to be everyone

                  Abt pulsoar ;i dont know!

                    @bboby:
                    Drop out PULSAR. Stay on either Uni or GS150R. SInce the waiting time for GS150r is only 1 week more than Uni, I think u can wait. If u can't go for Uni. But no Pulsar... Its way too common and u will have to sacrifice the riding pleasure we get on Uni and GS150R. My suggestion- get GS150R as its almost Unicorn with latest gadgets.

                      Pulsar matches your criteria, but it's ownership experience is somewhat frustrating. Service is never complete, parts get spoilt soon, engine heats up a lot, etc.

                      From GS 150R & Unicorn, I suggest Unicorn because of reliability, refinement, least power loss from crank to rear wheel, mileage, Rear Monoshock, etc. I know that 6th cog matters and we may not have all the data about GS, but uni would be more comfortable...

                      One more thing - Why not consider an Apache RTR instead of P180? It would be worth it!

                                Unicorn's saddle height is 790mm... there are more bikes that share the same saddle height.

                                Also, the older Uni's height was 1090 mm and the new ones are 1100 mm.

                                end of the day these measurements don't say the truth... the saddle position and feel is what counts...
