What type? Super Sports, Naked... what other categories do we have for a 600cc???? hmmm... V Twin... cruisers...

Unless you use it for track, may be you should keep away from the Yamaha YZF series and Suzuki GSX-R series...

Dude, you did not post where you would use this bike? Road? Racetrack? Bad Roads? Freeways??

I am a Ninja Fan, and I would love to own one. But, the kind of powerband it has, it really requires some hard revving to keep it going good. and it's not a mileage champion either. Spares are a problem too.

As for GSX, you might benefit from it's 3 Power modes, which makes it delivery smoother a bit. It won't have too much low end, but it helps a little. I notice from various sources, that GSX generally has more spares in the Grey Market than other bikes. Can't say about 09 model though.

Journalists around the world claim CBR as the best. Now, the '09 model even has ABS, which might save life, even if brakes are grabbed immediately. It works as Performance aid too, decreasing your braking time from a particular speed.

and R6 is best for Racetrack, as competitions around the world prove.

"Assuming" you want use it overall in all conditions except racetrack, I advise you to go for GSX 600R or the Honda CBR 600.
