  • FZ 16 or R 15

Guys im new to the Block

I'm 6 ft and i want to know if its comfortable taking R 15
    The bike looks short
so is it ok to take it
I had a test on FZ which is good enough
But wanting to go for R 15

    Topic Approved.

Although both the bikes in questions are, technically speaking, 150cc machines but are like chalk and cheese when it comes to the practicality. Since you like the FZ better, get it.

However, do take a test ride of the R15 as well, if possible, and then decide. Both the machines are good in their own right. What matters more in such a case is what you like and what you want. Make an informed decision. Also, do go through the FZ-16 and the R15 Ownership Experience thread(s) present here in xBhp. That should give you a fair bit of idea regarding both the bikes.
    :)

        I'm 6 feet 1 inch tall & I find R15 comfortable. That's after owning P180...

So, believe me, R15 is comfortable, maybe you should try getting a Test Ride.

Moreover, Xbhp has some members who have done touring on it. When you commute, you should be able to travel with a maintainable speed of 30 kmph+. If you can, go for it!

However, one complaint about Backache reg. R15 was by a person who commuted 40+ kms on busy roads daily... That did seem a unique case. So, don't worry, go for R15...

I felt great on it. That's despite my 1 inch more height...

Congratulations! You may find it a bit difficult in heavy traffic for the first few days, but once you get used to it, it handles like a dream!
P.S. Please do your running-in very carefully. That will ensure you a trouble-free&smooth ride for years to come!

                      Hehe
                      took FZ rey
                      I felt comfortable riding it
I mostly ride in the city
So dodging traffic is easy on FZ
If at all was to tour i would have definetly gone for R 15
I was attracted to by the looks
                      But being practical
                      I took FZ
More over if its long distance i had to travel
I prefer taking out the CAR
                      Rather bike
                      So happy buying an FZ
NE ways thanks for your suggetions and concern
