    Hi Ankur,
I haven't bought the motorcycle yet but I am planning to buy it around Diwali. Also to mention that my patience has paid up. FI is available and blue with all stickers looks more sporty than black. Another issue is that FI version might not be available in Jamshedpur by that time. But Suzuki has nice supportive staff and will do something about it. Diwali will also bring offers.....
    Cheers

          Re: Pulsar or Gixxer??

I have experience with both bikes. I own 200ns and my bother Gixxer 150 (no sf).
The only problem with ns is absence fairing. You will get a gliding effect on NS if cross winds are strong and you are riding at 120+. But city rides are flawless and you will get consistent 38-40 kmpl.
Gixxer on the other hand is a good option but his bike started to have problems within first few months of ownership. Fuel leakage, electrical system problem, chain issues etc. Suzuki service centers are worst (In Hyderabad). In case of Pulsar, brand is reliable. I haven't had faced any major issue (MS), also vibration problem was sorted out when i switched to Motul engine oil.
One more interesting thing that i have observed is, Pulsar will want you to rev up and blast the accelerator all the time. While Gixxer gives you the calmer ride with nice and solid exhaust beats. Overall average that is achieved with Gixxer is 45kmpl.
We have been to long rides and both bikes performed well.

Any motorcycle cared for will always show a pretty face.... I was thinking to buy a pulsar 220 before. And I think I will outgrow gixxer's 155 cc engine. Do you think a motorcycle will cease to being fun???

Is suzuki that bad thay I'll have to carry it to service centre frequently}??? Am buying FI version.

              Hi xBHPians,
Finally I bought my first motorcycle. Suzuki Gixxer SF. I sincerely thanks to you folks here who saved me from buying a Bajaj. I am so happy for this motorcycle. Superior in looks, handling, average, technology and list goes on. I love the way Gixxer handles. Really. I had read so many reviews, riding tips and all I was skeptical about the handling with new tyres. I was suspecting them to slip. Surprise. 42mm front forks do their job. I did run in tyres and warm them before hard turns. The joy of corners is real turn on. I like the way it looks in Moto GP color edition. My laptop has broken, but will soon upload photos.
              Thanks fellows.
