  • Should I go for Pulsar 180 in 2016?

    Hi
Wanted a suggestion from experts like you..
I want to purchase a bike under 1Lac.
    My options are
    1.Pulsar 180
    2.Gixxer 155
    3.Hornet 160
    4.FZ-S FI
    5.Gixxer SF.
Which one i should go for?
    For daily commute.
Which bike has low maintenance cost & reliable engine which can last for long?

    Query Approved

All of these bikes are good enough for a daily commute and reasonably reliable. Maybe if you share a more detailed requirement list, then people can advise on which bike to choose from your list.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

In my opinion, You should not. Its not a hot seller any more, and Bajaj can pull the plug any time soon. You can look for Pulsar 150 AS instead, which might be a bit less powerfull than 180, but on par with all other bikes you have mentioned. If Naked Bike is your game, then my vote for Gixxer. Test ride all before you decide.

If u riding on the highway most of the time get the gixxer sf.it will provide more protection against wind and give higher top speed as compared to naked sibling

All the bikes you have shortlisted are good city bikes. They are all in the similar power and feature range.
You cannot go wrong with any of them, except Pulsar (not that good compared to the others)
Take test rides of all of them and then choose the one that suits you the best.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Pay 5 grand more than the SF and get a 200cc Apache or NS.

You can go for FZ fi but seem underpower, Gixxer but less service center , hornet 160 no issue.
pulsar - why to go when you have option of these Japanese machines.
