Help me in choosing the best bike
My brother is planning to get a motorcycle in 100-125cc Category..He has shortlisted, Yamaha Saluto and Hero Passion Pro. Since both are of the similar price range. He is having a doubt over which one to buy as Saluto is 125cc but has a less fuel tank capacity while Passion pro is 100cc..Kindly suggest the best bike, also any other bikes also within 60k budget..Thanks in advance.. -

Query ApprovedBiking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Re: Help me in choosing the best bike
You can also consider the new Victor 110, a good bike with a mileage of 50+ kmpl. It has enough power for city running. Should not cost you more than 65k OTR.
If Electric start is not an issue, Go for CT100 from Bajaj, OTR price under 50k, should give you a mileage of 55 kmpl atleast inside city conditions.R15S - Current
Honda Dio - Current
TNT 600i - Sold
Classic 500 - Sold
Pulsar 220 dtsi - Sold
Yamaha YBX125 - Sold

Re: Help me in choosing the best bike
If the bike is to be used only in city for commuting. Passion is the one to go for.
If there is considerable highway usage, then 125 CC motor would be better.
If you are looking in 125 CC, take a look at the Honda Shine as well.
Choose the one that suits your requirements.I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Re: Help me in choosing the best bike
Go for saluto. Yamahas are normally underrated. Their machines age very well. I own a libero G5 of 2006 make. Still in pristine condition. Many on lookers never believe it a 10 year old one. Refined engine and feel really comfortable even cruising in 80kmph through out day. I recently did a 320km ride on a single day with no issues at all.

Re: Help me in choosing the best bike
My vote would also go for Saluto. Being the lightest 125cc, gives mileage close to the 110cc bikes. And Yamaha bikes are known to give one less visits to the service centers due to low maintenance. The engine is a gem as well.
Apart from Saluto, Shine has been there for a while now. Victor is also a good prospect.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
