  • Choosing a bike for college commute

I am confused between choosing honda hornet, Yamaha fzs, Suzuki gixxer and tvs Apache rtr 180. Will use mostly for college commute which is 80% city and 20% highway. Am a 6 feet tall and hence need a bike in which I can be comfortable and also which provides good mileage. Budget is 1 lakh.

    Query Approved

From what i have heard the Hornet is the roomiest of the bikes that you have listed out.
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

        +1 to the above.

From the above mentioned bikes, Hornet seems to be best bike for your physique. Honda is always reliable and it gives a decent mileage of 40+ kmpl.

+1 to Hornet. Ticks all your requirements.
Take test rides and then decide.

I am considering buying Hornet for the city area too but I am not sure about the mileage expenses... How much will it take in the busy city streets?
