  • Confused in selecting scooter.

Friends, this would be my 3rd two wheeler and 1st scooter after suzuki fiero(2000) and bajaj(2007) pulsar so I am a bit confused in selecting the same. From collage going boy to now a grownup man in 15 years I enjoyed the bike ride very much, time has changed, now happily married and being father of two we get a bit difficult to have a ride on high raised bajaj pulsar so decided to shift to scooter. As I ride about 20-30 kms a day so my first preference would be mileage and then looks followed by quality. I would be thankful to the valuable suggestion and friends I need user experience suggestions not just copied from the websites. I have some choices like
    @ Honda Actica 3g
    @ Hero Maestro Edge
    @ Hero Duet
    @ TVS Jupiter

any other with good mileage would highly be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Dave.

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

      Re: Confused in selecting scooter.

We have ownership threads on all above scooters here.
Suggest read them and come with your doubts or clarification whereby individual owners can reply to you.

Hero Maestro Edge and Hero Duet have same engine but some difference in features and Wheel size (Edge has 12 inch front wheel and 10'' rear wheel whereas Hero duet has both 10 inch wheels but this one comes with full steel body. Jupiter comes with 12 inch wheels at front and rear. All these scooters gives about 45/50Kmpl in normal conditions.

IMO, Jupiter is the best bet. Sturdy and has good ride ability. TD it and you can feel its comfort. Returns a good mileage of 40+ kmpl.

          Re: Confused in selecting scooter.

Add Suzuki all new Access to the list. Best way to know is to test them out. You cant go wrong with any of them, all are good scoots. Access and Jupiter are a little ahead of the pack. I am a pride owner of Access from the last 2 months and from the city run abouts and a singlw highway ride, I relly like what it offers. But like I said always go for a test ride before deciding on any one of these.
