To all those who are regular to forum, kindly excuse me for not going through many posts before typing this. I'm currently struck in too many things which is not permitting me to properly research. Hence, I reverted back to to place where I can trust the opinions most - xBHP.

So now ,after getting married, I got into a situation where I have to definitely buy a bike.I have zero knowledge about these powered vehicles. Also I learnt to drive with confidence in traffic recently. I can now take my wife along with me and drop her safley.

Past one week I rode Honda activa I, for around 400 kms. I liked riding it. I almost got tempted to even zero in on that bike. Then, when I'm on road I'm seeing too many bikes and wanted to know which is better in price and quality. Also few around me suggeted that Activa is just being driven on brand and there are lot of choices.

My purpose : Mostly to commute inside city and to work ( some times). I'm a long distance cyclist. So sometimes I may have the itch to ride around one side 100 Kms. (My first ride on Activa I is also 130 kms overall !)

Budget : 65 K , can stretch till 70 Max.

Other requirements : My wife doesn't know to ride yet, but may ride the same bike in future. So it should be good for both of us.

Together both of us weigh around 150 kgs now.

Since I have no idea about any of bikes, kindly advice me about a models and comparisons, also please educate me about factors to be considered for buying a bike.
