  • Help me choose a bike!

I'm 6 feet tall. Weight: 80kg. Age:24. Other than daily commuting, I do monthly long rides consistently. Been using a Pulsar 180, Yamaha Fazer for the past 6 to 7 odd years.

    Needs: Fan of Faired motorcycle.
I zeroed in on Parellel twins: Ninja300 and Yamaha R3. But I'm confused between them. Is it safe to buy Ninja300 now as they updated Ninja650 and showcased Versys300 in autoexpo and has an ABS. Will Ninja300 in any time near future gets ABS? Is ABS a real deal breaker? R3 on the other hand looks nice still no ABS. I need a reliable one.

Tried KTM's though, I really love the power but the heat though. So ticked off the list at first.

Any further advice is much appreciated.

Both these bikes are great. ABS isn't really a deal breaker. Personally, the Kawa pulls on the heartstrings more than the Yammie. See what floats your boat the most!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Thanks Monk for the approval and the advice. Heart says Ninja. Heard Ninja bookings have been stopped. So there is a good amount of Time to decide.

Hey man! From the choice of your shortlisted bikes I assume your budget goes above 3-3.5 lakh rupees.
And seeing that you have a good amount of time to decide and frequently do long rides, and considering your height and weight I would like to suggest going for an adventure tourer like the gs 310 and versys 300. These could save a man of your height from a lot of back and wrist pain.

Aslo, you could consider the upcoming benelli trk 502 if it suits your pockets.
        Doing whatever it takes.
