Need for city use only,mileage 40+, fairing bikes only,no naked bikes please. Comfort pillion seat is must. I am thinking about Fazer v2...any suggestions please, I need to buy in 2days.

Considering your requirements, I can think of only two bikes. The Fazer and the Gixxer SF. If I were you, I would pick the Gixxer as it has more power at low end than the Fazer has.
Mind you the pillion seat height of the Gixxer is on the taller side, so older people might find it difficult to climb. The size of the seat is by no means smaller so once climbed, it's a breeze to sit. I'm not sure about the Fazer's pillion seat so this point might be worth considering while making your choice. So +1 for Gixxer.

Yes, GixxerSF is faired and has great fuel economy above 45kmpl. Opt for Fi version, it looks good in MotoGP decals and has better top end and no vibrations. Fi helps in cold starts. Though it should be warmed up before use, engine gets to life in single press of button even after months of storage.
+1 for GixxerSF because it is a complete package.Comment

I did test drive on both and found gixxer is good if travelling alone, fazer was comfortable, I asked my friend to sit on pillion seat on both fazer was comfortable but gixxer was not.Comment
