I am looking to buy a scooter in the coming two months and am torn between the Access 125 and the Activa 125 (BS-IV). A little history first - I have owned a 2009 spec Honda Activa for about 6 years before selling it in 2015. The scooter was perfect, and after having driver over 50,000 kms, I faced very few problems. Currently, I own a 2011 spec TVS Wego - which has covered about 26000 kms but given me twice as many problems as the Activa ever did - because of this, I have generally given up on TVS as a brand (Good idea?)
One of the main reasons I am inclined towards the Activa 125 is because I trust honda for delivering a top-notch scooter which will not be plagued with problems over the coming years. I usually travel around 150 kms a week, and with that running, I really do need a strong and reliable machine. However, the Access seems to have more features and is slightly cheaper than the Activa. Ride comfort is something I have been unable to gauge because of limited test-riding range. What worries me about the Access is that it would be a plunge into the unknown - in terms of quality and reliability of the Suzuki!
So essentially, which one do you guys is better? And is it right to write off TVS completely or still give the jupiter a chance since its seems to be selling like hotcakes. Finally, is taking the disk option on either of the scooters worth it? I have never ridden a bike with Disk brakes, which is why I am a bit concerned, especially with the CBS on the Honda.
Any suggestions, experiences and opinions will help immensely helpful. Thanks in advance for all the advice
