Re: Comfortable bike for a back pain victim
Finally decided to go for Unicorn 150. I also test ridden hornet but found the seating & handlebar position way too sporty.Originally posted by whymail View PostSatyamzma - a pre-owned impulse w/ a karizma engine plonked in it will do the trick for u or else a well worshipped unicorn. others listed by u might not serve the expected purpose IMHO

My previous bike was Electra & only seat was comfortable ,suspension is hard overall its not a comfortable bike for city use.Originally posted by rapperswil View PostSatyam,
the RE Electra is a good option since it has 19" wheels that glide over bumps which 17" wheels might slightly struggle with.
Bullet is heavy, but as long as you balance it, you should fine.Don't Honk Unnecessarily

Yes FZ is a great bike but with low fuel efficiency & lack of kicker.Originally posted by prashant_ View PostFz seems to be the best option
I got Unicorn 150 & is really comfortable bike, lower back pain due to riding bullet has completely gone now. so far i have ridden 1000 kms on it & its giving me around 55 kmph of mileage which i think is best in 150 cc category.Don't Honk Unnecessarily

I am thinking of getting a Unicorn but still exploring other options.

Re: Comfortable bike for a back pain victim
Not sure about unicorn. I would suggest to rent Avenger Street/Cruise for couple of hours and take the decision. My friend had same issue, bikes with mono suspension made it worse. So, he had to rent Avenger street for a day and as per him it was comfortable.Originally posted by ravihpa View PostAppreciate the feedback

He was about to buy but was asked my someone to wait for Avenger 400/Suzuki Cruisers which are going to launch by next March.
I would recommend to stay away with mono suspension which might worsen the issue. Good luck

Oh, I'm not the original poster of this thread. He bought the Unicorn for his back pain, and so far, he's very happy with it.Originally posted by praveen_1267 View PostNot sure about unicorn. I just appreciated him for posting feedback of Unicorn, which I am interested in getting. I would suggest go for old unicorn 150 model it is gem of all bikes.I personally kept one for relax riding. Engine is ultra smooth and ultra durable and posture is also upright relaxed. Riding unicorn is like meditation for me. Just go for it u'll never regret.

Re: Comfortable bike for a back pain victim
I've narrowed it down to Unicorn 160. I did read about Suzuki Intruder 150, but I don't think a cruiser would be able to give me my required mileage.Originally posted by Billipro View PostSuzuki intruder 150 launching in few days, check that out, seems super comfortable| LG 24GM79G-B 144 Hz Full HD Monitor | Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10 Ghz | ASUS TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark 2 | Zotac GTX 1070 AMP! Re: Comfortable bike for a back pain victim
Have gone through the discussions.
Kindly advice a bike or scooter for a height of 6ft 2" and 95kg weight suffering from disc problem. Please suggest under 1L and under 2L. I want only for city/domestic use.
