Re: Need Help In Choosing My First Superbike.
Before you go on deciding, you should ask yourself these questions:
01) Which bike has your heart that falls in your budget?
02) Which bike have you been riding till date?
03) What is going to be your primary use of a bike (detail it e.g. office, sunday ride, highway touring over 300kms, breakfast rides witgin 100kms etc)
04) How often will you have pillion and what should be pillion comfort level?
05) How important is mileage vis-a-vis performance?
06) For how long do you want to use the bike you plan to buy?
07) How comfortable are you spending on maintainance of a bike?
Make a list of all the bikes and Answer these questions. You will have a clarity.

01) Hyosung GT650R
02)Honda CBR 250R
03)Sunday Rides
04)Very rarely i will have a pillion
05)Super Bikes Never Comes With Mileage
06)2-3 years OR Till i be able to buy a Busa
07)will be keeping it like a baby so surely will maintain it at its best.
But the question in my mind is should i go for a Hyosung as in many reviews it is said that Hyosungs have some electronic problems and it also Vibrates while at high speeds ??? You Own a Hyosung, have you ever faced any problem like this with the bike??Last edited by AmanShaw; 04-22-2017, 04:13 PM.

Re: Need Help In Choosing My First Superbike.
Duke390 is equipped with liquid cooling but since a single cylinder is proving 390cc so it puts a lot of pressure on the coolant.. At higher speeds the coolants heat exchange is way good but at lower speed or during traffic one faces the problem of overheating. But thats something you need to compromise if u want a good sports tourer in a low price.. Go for benelli if you have the budget trust me you wont regret except for the fact that the spares are expensive..
All the best

Re: Need Help In Choosing My First Superbike.
My Take is as follows:
Duke 390 - Great all rounder however if you have R1 and Hayabusa as target then it is not worth discussing it here.
Benelli 600i - My ex - Sounds great and looks good to general public and will make a lot of heads turn. But 4k service interval is plain stupid and paying 9k average for a service every 4k kms is really expensive affair. Also, it kind of feels unncessarily heavy and just doesnt feel fast.
Nina 650R - Dont go for it unless you want a bike that will bore you with its reliability. This bike is so bulletproof that you will be stuck with it forever and till the end of time
and it sounds kind of boring too and this too wont feel like a proper superbike
I will recommend picking up a used Z800 if you want a naked. It too has a bulletproof engine, rides like a charm and has ABS. Service and spares is no problem either.
If you can really stretch for Hayabusa (my current love) then just go for it. It has enough power to satisfy anyone. The 'A' mode is just maniac and it is a very practical superbike too and it too is super reliable. Good service intervals too and very easy to maintain. Overall upkeep costs are no more than a 600i. Have ridden it daily to office and back for a month and it is just WOW bike.Street racing is for Squids trying to make up for their small equipment

You sure ?? After Kawasaki has taken over its operations, I feel the Service has become an expensive affair. I may be wrong. But feel free to correct my statement.Originally posted by riot View PostI will recommend picking up a used Z800 if you want a naked. It too has a bulletproof engine, rides like a charm and has ABS. Re: Need Help In Choosing My First Superbike.
With Ninja 250R I never faced any spare part or service issue in the past and From what I have heard from current Kawasaki owners is that the service and spare parts availability is still the same. Looking at Kawasaki's history in India, spares and service will not be a problem in future either. Z800 is still a great buy and many 0kms run BS3s are available for a good 1 to 1.5L discount (buyer will be second owner).Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostYou sure ??
