The GF factor should say it all my friend even though its a hard decision for a pretty neat bike.Originally posted by dreamz_mak View Post1.My Fiance/GF is unable to sit comfortably as pillion on R15 and complains of back pain all the time when doing more than 200km in a day
(i have added some more cushion at the back seat still the same)
The other thing is that 200km on day would be tiring too, for both people.
Before changing the bike, take a spin on your friends ZMA / bullet / whatever.
You GF will tell you which one she likes.

The zma is the best tourer for Indian roads by a huge margin. Cruise all day at 100+ without a worry in the world.Originally posted by inder.cool View PostUhh Oh..!!
Fuel gauge, trip meter, clock, variety of tank bags and touring accessories...no brainer.
get a spare seat, add foam strategically to widen the area under the butt and narrow it between the thighs. Another thing you can try is to cut a groove along the middle of the seat (crotch area) and find some way to vent this groove to the sides. Use a fabric that wont heat up. The biggest cause of saddle discomfort is heat buildup in the seat.
these are just my ideas from riding hardtail bicycles for several hours at a time and doing mumbai to chennai on my zma.Kriss : 15.06.1981 - 11.10.2009

I made this hard decision not because of my GF as when i spoke with her about this she also says not to sell the bike as she can manage with no issues
But still other factors remains like carrying luggage, parking in mumbai city, spare parts, comfortable touring capablities, monsoons reliablity, off road capablities,
Mostly comfort is what i am looking for
I think ZMA should be a good choice all things considered
A good partical bike for indian road conditionsLast edited by dreamz_mak; 04-28-2009, 10:36 PM.

You'll definitely miss the Yammie's top end rush and its razor sharp handling. But the Zma's torquey power delivery and comfortable stance shall cosset you so that you wouldn't regret your decision

Cheers !I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.
