Where do I go from the CBR 250r?
Hey guys, lemme say a bit about my riding experience and history, started on a 2004 unicorn spokes model in 2006, Rode it til 2014 and it seized cause my maintenance was 0. Then bought a non abs cbr 250 r , 35k km and still going strong albeit a few crashes , but it's never going to leave , lately I've had this itch for more power . I am not in a great financial position at the moment but should be by start of next year. I'm looking for a slight jump in power hence my options is the duke 390 and the r3, I know both are completely different bikes, but with touring capabilities and occasional city usage, you can ask why not a 600cc segment bikw , well for one my financial status would not support it now but in due time also the options available don't really speak to me, also now there's implementation of the gst taxes, I'm not very excited by the new ninja 650, benelli 600i is a decent vfm but cost of Spares and availability of svcs are questionable, same case with Kawasaki , other bike would be CBR 650f which I feel is a great bike but a tad bit overpriced, other options are the z900 which also 8.5 L plus, street triple s at the same rate, will wait for the R model n see how heavily that is priced , I've had my eyes only on the fz/mt 07 but Yamaha just refuse to enter the 600 cc market which is very disappointing, I feel it's the ideal bike for me, coming to the lower cc bikes I've mentioned are realistic to own for me, I've left out the n300 due to cost n availability of Spares, would like to year your thoughts on this thanks. My big bike riding experience goes to a older ninja 650 with scorpion exhaust which was my first ever experience on a 650+ cc bike, and was exciting, also ridden the benelli 600i a couple of times and the cbr 650f once., Also had the opportunity to ride the panigale 899 a few times which I came to a conclusion , it's meant for the track only.Last edited by Deathwing; 06-28-2017, 02:24 PM.Tags: None

Query ApprovedBiking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
