    Suggestions please for 160c+ Daily Commuter

    Hi guys. I have a ZMR (65k kms old) it has become too vibey after 60k kms and it has been my daily commuter for the past 4 years with average 40kmpl mileage. Then I bought a 390 and it is mainly used for touring (I use both bikes alternatively for rides) and the mileage in city traffic is around 24kmpl only.
    so now I am looking to retire the old boy and get a daily commuter for City use mainly.

    Suggest me one which is good under the below requirements...

    160cc+. 35kmpl mileage. Upright riding posture. Tubeless tires preferred. Budget upto 1.5L max. (please no RE)

    If you are looking for a commuter why not get a 150cc. Decent power for the city and light on the pocket as well. The Gixxer or FZ maybe

      The Gixxer/FZ/Hornet all suits your requirements. You need to weigh their plus and minus points according to your preference. All of them are very smooth, comfortable and reliable. If you want some more horses in your stable, FZ25 is a good choice as well.
      Another good option is Apache RTR160(ABS) which has decent power and low end torque.
      A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

        What I suggest may feel weird but test ride FZ25.
        you get the power, mileage(mentioned 35kmpl) comes under the price bracket of 1.5L (10k + or - )

        Other than the above I can suggest you with
        Gixxer SF, Hornet, Apache 200 or 180 ABS, Pulsar 200(All these should give you a very decent mileage also a good value for money)

        Test ride the bikes anyway.

          Since you mention this new bike is only for city commuting, FZ25 is a great choice. Moreover you wont like fell missing the ZMR torque.

              FZ 25 the way to go.The best VFM except some bummers like the 5 speed transmission and the same ol' design looks but the bike looks beautiful to me.For city it'd best a duke 200 any day.Very very refined very very less vibes.For city breaks were good.I didn't get the chance to ride fast but speed climbes faster than you feel.
