  • Gixxer SF Or FZS FI V2

Hi, I am buying my first motorcycle and really confused between these two. I like gixxer sf Fi but I am concerned about leg protection as you cannot install leg guard on a fully faired bike. I have seen R15 fairing is wide enough which can protect legs if bike falls but gixxer fairing in not wide enough. Naked version doesn't comes with Fi. Fairing is prone to damage too
Also any news on gixxer sf abs version, its released but I can't find any info on Suzuki website.

In naked only option is Yamaha fz because its fi

    Query Approved

You might want to see this - https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/38...e-fi-carb.html

There is no problem with the carb variant of the 155 really. Any particular reason you want an Fi unit?
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Abs has arrived according to all moto news sources. Delhi ex showroom price 1.05~1.08 for carburetted Abs version. It is only singe channel abs in front wheel.
Please explain why have you exclude d hornet when it produces more power than Fz and gives more mileage than both as far as I know. Moreover, comfort on hornet is way better than Gixxers. You can only install frame slider to protect the fairing in case bike falls, but it won't protect you very much from crashes.

Go for the gixxer, it's a great bike and now it gets ABS! Only bike in the segment that has it.

I am really confused between fzs fi and gixxer sf, going to book next week.
I like everything about sf but lack of leg guard can be dangerous since I am beginner, also heard gears are tight and mirrors are too wide and fzs fi there is rear drum brakes compared to abs on gixxer sf.Also which bike will look better on 6 feet tall person .

Fzs is a bit slower, gixxer sf is good for highway use as well. I guess you can get it fitted, do a proper TD on both and decide 👍

Pulsar NS160 has highest seat height in it's segment I hope !

I suggest you to do Proper TD on whatever the bike you like, you will get an idea once TD finished.

Atlast even though your a inexperienced rider, you must have confidence on you that you can handle bike very well, if fear and less confident on riding a bike, then no matter what bike you buy.

I hope No Bike manufacturer will give you leg guard, it is actually bike crash guard.

Try to filter your requirement, you will get one.

                And Test Drive is MUST.

All the best to choose one that suits you .
