    Query Approved

The Dominar and Mojo would be a decent bet. RE's Fi hasn't had rave reviews in the past!
Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

The list you have are as different as chalk and cheese, so can't tell you one or another. Test ride the bikes and see which makes you more comfortable for long rides but I would suggest avoid Himalayan for now as I am not sure if all the issues have been fixed.

Have you ridden bikes on a touring purpose before? if so, what shortcomings did you face? are THOSE satisfied by THESE 4 bikes in your list?
Did you test all these bikes? Which one are you leaning towards?

Why not consider CBR250R as well?

Because cbr is currently discontinued i have take the test ride of dominar it is good but not refine.
My few friends have Himalayan they are saying bike is awesome but nt reliable or recommend for long rides.
I'm currently going for mahindra mojo test ride problem is in mumbai service and spare parts availability of mojo is less as compare to South india.and resale value is also not great.
If yu guy's have any suggestions then let me know.

Sorry brother, i missed out on the part that CBR250R has been discontinued. other than that, Even i didnt see MOJOs (or their dealer/service network) blooming much here at HYD roads.

Dominar as a new comer would still be a bit more reliable than Himalan (my personal opinion). Other than that CL 350/500 would vary only in torque figures but the TOP Speed and the convenient cruising speed would not be much in three digits as like the newer bikes. For some people speed may be a concern if they plan on long tours.

Try exhaustive Test rides to arrive at a narrower choice.

I seriously suggest Dominar 400 among the options listed (only the ABS version). Agreed that it is not refined but then you must think of the budget as well.
In given budget, Dominar is the only versatile bike capable of cruising but also can be used for cornering (requires some effort and due care - but very much possible and one of my friends is indeed using it quite well for cornering practice).

There are a lot many relatively affordable customization options coming up for Dominar due to it being sold in a fair number (not comparing with Royal Enfield).

Royal Enfield is great only if you are specifically a fan of those bikes. For all others, anytime I would suggest Dominar over any RE model due to much better technology and safety of ABS which RE won't give. If you like to take it slow and easy, only then RE bikes are suitable. Dominar can do 120 kmph for many hours without a sweat. It will do 140-150 kmph on highway if you really push it hard. You will not achieve quick travel with any RE bikes in such manner.

Himalayan is mainly for off-road. Very few urban people truly do off-roading. You will encounter rough roads, potholes etc - but rarely you will go into mud-sliding events!
So, Dominar will handle all the rough roads fairly well.

Frankly RE and Dominar aren't truly comparable as they belong to different styles of motorcycling. Just that they fall in similar price bracket. I am not going to recommend Mahindra Mojo either because it also lacks safety of ABS.
