    150 cc or more power - Bike needed for daily commute to office - 30 kms

    Hi All

    This is my first post to this wonderful forum. I got a typo mistake in my username so call me Sumit.

    1. Budget 75K or above
    2. Age 36 yrs
    3. Height 6.0 feet
    4. Weight 95 kgs
    5. Intended usage - Daily office commute in city traffic - 30 km
    6. Fuel Efficiency requirement (approx., if any) - ---------------45-50
    7. City & Highway percentage usage ----------------------------City usage 100%
    8. Approximate Daily / Monthly running 800 km monthly
    9. City / Town /Village of residence Gurgaon
    10. Brand / Bike type preference (if any) Bullet 350/Avenger 220/Hero Xtreme/Honda CB 160 Hornet

    I am looking for a bike for daily commute and RE 350 is my first choice. But I am reading reviews that it's not for city traffic, doesn't zoom fast and high maintenance. Its best for highways? But I have city usage only

    Avenger 220 - Does tall people have a problem with this bike? Read that some ppl got tailbone pain problem ?

    How about Xtreme or CB Hornet ? In past, I had Pulsar 180 and Glamour , Now I am riding Aviator daily to office..but thinking of buying bike as its more comfortable

    Kindly suggest.I am highly confused

      If your main requirement is office commute, then 150cc should be sufficient enough. A commuter bike should primarily have comfortable seat, combination of decent FE + power and good low + mid range torque.
      Hornet and FZ V2.0 clicks the boxes. Test ride and decide.
      A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

        If it is for office commute try unicorn or fz. Both offer good milage & easy to ride in traffic. Hornet is also good. Do test ride then it will be easy to decide.

            Hmmm a 2nd hand NS 200 is good but you won't get the same economy, also have a look at the gixxer.

              RE 350 - is suitable for both city & highway ride. U will get decent power in traffic. As you said maintenance is at higher point. But it won't give you much problem.

              220 - Not much of a cruiser fan. It's depends on your like.

              Don't forgot to consider fz, gixxer, apache(abs).

                Thanks my first choice is Bullet 350...but first I want to try bike on rent for 1 month ? Any reliable dealers in gurgaon ?

                  got a dealer in delhi offering 9000 rs per month rent for Bullet Electra 350 ..will ride it and let u all know ..
