Did you mean the BMW 310 (built in collaboration w/ TVS) ? Then yes, it is worth waiting. Although they look somewhat similar, the akula and bmw engines are very different.
The BMW has two variants - G310 R and G310 GS (touring). I saw a few here in the US and they look stunning, especially with their sub $6000 pricing here.
