    Bike for touring

    Looking for a bike only for touring.

    My requirements are

    1. Something that does not fail
    2. Decent cruising speed (120-140) for long periods
    3. Can be driven off road
    4. Good brakes
    5.Good engine

    I don't care about
    1. General comfort
    2. Mileage

    Max budget 3Lakh

    I am looking at the Duke 390 with offroad tires. I might do a Leh Ladakh trip at some point so I want to be prepared for that.

    Go shoot someone in Kawasaki for pricing their Versys 300 at 4.6 lakh

      I was actually thinking about the Versys but the 4.6 ex price ticked me off. Specially Ninja with the same engine is 3.6 ex.

        Duke with an aftermarket windscreen and a set of fog lamps.
        Add ceat off road tyres for leh or spiti circuit and you are good.

        No other bikes can offer you so much at that price point

          I was looking at ceat tyres especially at the vertigos but am not sure. Any idea on which one to choose?
