    Bike with comfort for daily use within 1lakh for a short man

    Hello,
    I am using activa and I want to buy a new bike because of the back and shoulder pain. I am travelling around 40km daily in Bangalore city. I am little short with 5.4" hight and 60kg weight.
    Brand preference : none.
    Only preference : Should be comfortable for pillion rider also. The back seat should not be of too much height.
    Can somebody help me in buying my 1st bike ?

      What is your budget ? And what type of bike are you looking for ? Only city use ? Touring ? Speed?

        Budget is within 1lakh. Its for daily use in Bangalore city. Very rarely I go out

        Look and style are not of my interest. Only comfort for both the riders plus decent milage is what I am looking at

          You can check out Honda unicorn 150 or 160...
          Also you can see Bajaj v12 or v15..
          It's important you sit on the bike and feel it... Take a proper test drive ... Check if you can park it properly and move it around parkings easily...

            +1 for Bajaj V12(125cc) and V15(150cc) if you want cruiser look.
            Else Honda shine SP (125cc) and Honda Unicorn(150cc) will suit your needs.

                I saw in YouTube that new v15 2018 model comes with backrest support for pillion rider also. Is that true ? Anybody has any idea ?

                    I think bajaj avenger 150 will likely suit you for your height and an additional backrest will help the pillion. For 40 kms it can give the best comfort.
                    Depends on you also, but do take the test ride.

                      Yes it comes .

                      Also take a test ride of Bajaj avenger 150 , you can add aftermarket or cruise backrest too for it won’t cost much .Average is also good 45 to 50 kmpl. Just have a test ride as it has forward set foot pegs .

                        Have you decided anything yet? If not check out the Hornet or SZ-RR. Both of them are comfortable and smooth.

                          For short height, I think avenger will be very much suitable. Low seat, good comfort, decent mileage, hassle free service, East on pocket.

                          Just try it out, let us know how comfortable you were on avenger and other bikes
                          Its not the Bike that makes a Biker perfect, its a Biker who makes his Bike perfect :)

                            Thanks for all the reply. I took test ride of avenger.., but 150cc is not available for next 1 month. Also V15 is not available near by show room. Planning to visit Honda show room this weekend. Then I will finalize

                              Check Bajaj avenger ownership thread , there is avenger 180cc street coming and I guess there are chances they will phase out 150cc street.
