Which bike for a grizzly veteran's daily use and highway runs?
Hi, I am 6 ft tall and weigh about 100kgs. I am looking for a new bike for commuting and short highway runs. I have spent most of my riding years on 2 strokes, my only experiences with 4t bikes are on pulsar 180 n 220.
So I have narrowed it down to a used cbr250 or a new pulsar ns200. Which one should I go for?HYPERTHRUST CLEARED AND COUNTING

Query Approved
Being a fellow 220 owner, neither the CBR nor the NS 200 are much fun to ride in the city, since there is nothing happening at low rpm. On the highway though it is a different story entirely.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

I know that no sc bike would have the low-end rush like the 220. But I can live with average low end, if the bike is reliable.Originally posted by The Monk View PostQuery Approved

Re: Which bike for a grizzly veteran's daily use and highway runs?
Some guys on xbhp have issues with the new BSIV 2017 NS 200 relating to jerky power delivery at high speeds. Apparently, one guy has problems with the bike not going above 95 kmph on certain occasions. Avoid the carb ns200 until Bajaj has fixed these issues.

I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

Ns200 does have it own share of drawbacks like every other bike but I feel most of problems faced by Bajaj bikes is due to the incompetent SVC ....they are lazy , unresponsive and even lie sometimes to skip job.Originally posted by Ankey View Post
Otherwise it is a dream bike to own . I started that thread ( the one you have posted ) but I am happy to report all problems and issues have been resolved and I am living my dream with my NS200

The power of fz25 and the headlamp are a big let down.Originally posted by wingrider007 View PostHow about fz25 ? Good torque for city use and even for highway use. Cost maybe more than your budget (not sure how much)
Take a test ride on fz25HYPERTHRUST CLEARED AND COUNTING

390 is out of budget. May be a used 200.Originally posted by zestbiker View PostA sparingly used Duke390(2013,14,15) is right up your alley-available in plenty on OLX and Quikr-you sure will not miss the 2stroke thrills on this oneHYPERTHRUST CLEARED AND COUNTING

SVC isn't an issue for me. Have enough contacts here.Originally posted by abhijithpreddy View PostNs200 does have it own share of drawbacks like every other bike but I feel most of problems faced by Bajaj bikes is due to the incompetent SVC ....they are lazy , unresponsive and even lie sometimes to skip job.

Re: Which bike for a grizzly veteran's daily use and highway runs?
Then if your looking for a entey level naked sports bike which is awesome in both pick up and speed but still works on carberuted engine ( less complications ) that is suitable for your city use and highway use, its definitely you bike .Originally posted by Bibhu View PostSVC isn't an issue for me.
