  • Confused with options. Please help guys.

    Hi guys,

Planning to buy a bike but totally confused. I had shortlisted bikes only from the RE stable but after reading about the EFI problems don know if i should I go ahead. My usage is very limited in city and weekend rides. I am mainly looking for cruiser for a relaxed highway ride.
I had shortlisted C500 stealth black, TB500 and TB500x (if launched this month). Now the problem with these bikes is the efi and rusting of the TB. So please help me to finalise a bike. I am open other options also. Thanks in advance. [emoji3]

Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Hi, I’m just curious to know why the Himalayan is not on your list. It’s the one product from the RE stable where the EFI & the engine are mated beautifully.

The comfort it offers as a long tourer is way better than the CL & TB - especially for 2-up touring. The vibrations way lesser compared to the CL & the TB - this is an important aspect to consider too.

As far as the niggles go, the BS4 variant has now settled down to be the same as the others by RE - you’ll need to be a bit more involved in maintaining it.

Perhaps the styling or some other aspect may not be to your liking - I’m just mentioning the Himalayan because it’s good option for sub-2 lakh ‘tourer’ in the market today.

But to help with your question - between the classic & the thunderbird - the TB will suit for relaxed riding position.
