I meant about the fz 250. I can't wait as long as honda plans to release cbr.

Have the cash? Go for Dominar ABS. Way better bike than the FZ25 IMHO.

Why do you need a new bike? More speed? The unicorn is good enough for 100 kmph touring. If I were you I would stick to the unicorn for now, stack some more cash, then get a better bike. Is there any pressing reason you cannot wait?

Check the torque. No one does 0 to 100 every day. It’s 30 to 100 and 50 to 100 are more important in real world. Dominar eats CBR in this.

You can buy a dominar and maintain it 4 80k kms, with the cost of new CBR [emoji7]

His buget is 1.5L. Is the new CBR offered only with ABS?

It's quite an old bike. Engine is not in a good condition. Mostly due to lack of proper maintenance. Not from my side obviously.

What?? Dominar costs 1.8 on road. CBR costs 220 odd.
Which bike under 1.5 lakh has abs?
                  Apache 200
                  Ns200
                  Rs200
                  R15

                  Am I missing something??

Cbr will be more than 2 lac IMO. I cant stretch that much.

Yes you are. I asked if the Honda is offering the CBR250 with StD and ABS variants as before.

You assumed I stated that the CBR is the only bike around 1.5L with ABS.

                      Clear now?

                        Ummmmm.
I think he has limited options now.

New CBR 250 will only come with ABS as they mentioned during Auto Expo launch. The pricing is not out yet, but I doubt if they can afford to keep it above 2L now since FZ 25 (sans ABS) is available for 1.4 OTR. More realistically I am expecting new CBR around 1.7-1.8L OTR. But Honda is Honda - you never know :-)

I'm leaning towards the dominar after reading the ownership thread and my god it looks fantastic especially now it has golden alloys.
practicality and daily running is the only thing about fz250.

Not that long, but expect a few weeks... maybe a couple of months at the most.
They have showcased it, hope it will be available in the showrooms soon enough.

Guys i test rode both of them. Liked low end pull of fz 250 and its flickability. Though dominar is heavier, i was able to maneuver it and loved the way it accelerates. Fz had no noticeable vibes but domi did. Still stuck on this dillema.
