If you are saying 27 kilometres I would like to suggest a motorcycle, more so if part of the road is bad. Scooters are only good for smooth roads. I own one and can vouch for it as I owned motorcycles as well. Modern day variomatic scooters are breaking the mith about poor milage and in fact they deliver milage close to motorcycles with similar engine capacities. If you are looking for scooters I suggest you take a test ride on the Suzuki Access. I own one and I can vouch for the performance. The scooter simply rocks and outrun many motorcycles. This has a telescopic suspension too. But do remmeber at the end of the day the riding dynamics of a motorcycle is always superior to a scooter.

Somebody call for a shine owner??? well as an owner i would say if u going to stick to speeds of abt 30 to 55.. fine.. its smooth.. and it is damn fun to ride.. It can give u some thrills.. but 27km one side? maybe u should check the gladiator.. That fifth gear will help in cruising.. shine is pretty much a city bike

For a 27-km ride one way, I would opt for Shine than Aviator. Long rides on Aviator is a big No. I have personal experience.

If you have a commuter bike in mind + budget constraints, the Yamaha Gladiator is a contender too! I've done 300k+ G2G & solo rides on mine. In my case I was yearning for the Uni within days after purchase... , but learnt to live with the Gladi !

Hence I am looking for smaller bike. Aviator I believe is the best amongst the Scooters, and amongst the 100-125cc motorcylces, I narrowed down to Shine. Other suggestions for comfortable bikes in this category are welcome.
oh ok i never knew uni is fit for tall people
then i think you should conclude on honda shine

ravi, thanks for sharing your Aviator experience. Can you kindly elaborate a bit more? What was the exact problem you faced with the Aviator. I dont need high speed. I just need to be able to ride comfortably at 40-45 kph.
