Which is the best bike among these? Please help I'll be highly appreciated.
Hello. I'm a college student of 18 years and have a height of 178 cms and I am in search of a new bike as it's my first bike I'll be using the bike 70% in the city and 30% in highway. My budget is 1.5 lakh on road bangalore. My options are Honda hornet 160R abs, tvs rtr 160 4v, ns200 abs /rs 200 abs, yamaha r15 v3. The bike should be little bit less maintenance and should serve in long term.
Thank you guys.Tags: None

Could you explain a bit more about your riding style and needs? Those are all good bikes but they have their own set of pros and cons so it will be helpful for us to suggest you one of them if you tell us more about what you're looking for in your bike.

I'm just a middle class guy so I'll be taking my mom as pillion to . As it is my first bike it's not that I don't know to ride, I have always riden my dad's tvs Victor.. I ride in a calm way and I don't want the engine to be strained at high speeds. And it should be a low in maintenance and no problemsOriginally posted by hamadryad View PostCould you explain a bit more about your riding style and needs? First of all there is nothing middle class about wanting to have a comfortable pillion seat, mom should sit in total comfort, so should your girlfriend.Originally posted by danush06 View PostI'm just a middle class guy so I'll be taking my mom as pillion to . Anyway, you can cross the R15 from your list as the pillion seat is plain horrible, the apache has never been comfortable for riders as tall as you and me, I'm 180cm and the apache always felt cramped to me.
Try the Hornet for pillion comfort, it's powerful enough for a bunch of highway runs and the smoothness and longevity of Honda engines are legendary.
However, out of all these bikes, the R15 will be the most fun to drive and the best looking out of the lot but you'll have to compromise on pillion comfort.
You can also check out the Xtreme 200 though.

Go for Hornet 160, a tough beast with eco fule consumption in low budget, though with good looks. as u have 70% city rides, its best commuter on your list, honda has a good reputation in market for their low maintenance & robust engines. The seats of hornet are way more comfortable and less stepped so good for family use. Other bikes on your list have a sporty riding posture and this one has a normal type so easy to commute in heavy traffics (less back pains [emoji53]) & also has ABS, so bingo..!Last edited by KzyKx; 05-27-2018, 05:15 PM.

As per your requirements, you should go with Hornet. Has comfortable pillion seat for an elderly lady. Also has sufficient power to see you through.
If you are ok with cruisers, then the Avenger twins are also good bets.A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.
