    Used KTM Duke 390

    Hello everyone, i am contemplating buying a used KTM Duke 390 - 2018 model. Seen a bike which is very less driven (about 200 kms) and i am all for it. However the purchase date is Mar'18 and first service is also not done.
    If i understand correctly
    1. KTM manual clearly states that warranty is applicable only for first owner and
    2. First service is 45 days or 1000 kms whichever is earlier

    It is possible that some issues can arise during the warranty period. However my worry is will i be able to claim warranty because the above two points are not met.

    Can someone help me with this?

    The price of this used KTM will be 25 K to 30 K less than the original one. Is this worth the risk?

    Warranty condition is correct, but normally it can be ignored if you're on good terms with dealership. Have a talk with them.

    You may get a paid service done, as if 45 days have passed, nothing can be done as they get reimbursed the service costs from company. Don't worry. The oil is anyways chargeable whether its free or paid service, so there won't be much difference.

    Have a talk with dealership regarding the warranty, but you should be able to claim it I think.

    If all seems ok, you can take the risk. But try for a proper 15% discount at least, which is about 40k less than original price.

        I happen to stumble on the same deal as yours from olx.. 3k kms driven, 4 months old with no service record.. not even 1k service. SVC brushed off their hands and said no warranty claim will be given to me or to the owner so I walked away
