No there is not going be one.
Their tie up with Triumph is gonna produce a cruiser style motorcycle around 500cc with single cylinder, in all new platform to challenge the bellow ₹2lakh Royal Enfields. Likely launch in 2020.

1: Both zigwheels and bikedekho mentioned expected launch , as dec 2018.
2: Triumph models even if made in India with Bajaj cannot be less than 2 L. Less not dream about that.
3: I planned to buy Dominar 400 ABS but being a Man of 44 feel that is bit odd for my taste. So prefer to have the same engine and other spec. in Avenger format. ( Like the RE TB 350 a lot but due to bad feedback, and heavy weight not even considering the RE TB.

Bajaj Avenger 400 with 2 channel ABS ready to be lunched by October/November.
Will have better finish then Dominar 400.
Expected Ex-showroom price : 1.9 L
More looks like Harly.
Source : Sale exe. of some Dealer in Bangalore. He himself saw the product itself/
