  • Duke 390 or Apache RR 310

    Hi guys
I am very confused between these two bikes.
I figured out all the things, just confused in touring and ease to ride part.
For touring, is Duke's pillion seat good enough?
Which of these bikes are good for long term perspective?

    1. Budget 2.80 lakh max

    2. Age 23

    3. Height 5.11

    4. Weight 70

    5. Intended usage (Office commute n touring)

    6. Fuel Efficiency requirement (27-32 approx. )

    7. City & Highway percentage usage (70-30%)

    8. City - Gurgaon

    10. Brand / Bike type preference (if any)

with you height at 5.11 duke will not be comfortable. and both duke and apache won't be comfortable for pillion.

as you have mentioned only 2 shortlisted bikes. so better pick will be apache. less stress on highways.

best advice is to look for someother bike if pillion is important , may be you may wait till Adv 390 ??

I did Bangalore to Kanyakumari with my better half on a D390. She didn’t complain about the seat. Only thing that I notice was the weight distribution tends be higher on the rider, including pillions weight. I haven’t ridden the 310 hence can’t talk about it.
I suggest you test ride both the bikes with pillion, presuming you are yet to test ride, then make your purchasing decision.

          Happy Shopping!!

I am 6' and I have done 400km in a day on Nepal roads, bike is damn comfortable. The seat could be better though.
