Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF are perhaps the most economical, fun and fuel efficient bikes in the market in that range. If you have a good independent service center, you can go with it once the free services are over. They now come with ABS too so that's an added benefit. For comfortable riding, go with a bike with single piece handlebar rather than split one, exception is Pulsar RS 200.
I'm 5'6" and ride a Pulsar 220 since 2015. It ain't comfy but I wanted something that gives me enough push for negotiating traffic plus it's list of good things of P220 that got me there. [emoji16]
    FZ is another good choice.
Do check the new Xtreme 200. It's bang in there with the 150-160cc segment in pricing and has single channel ABS too.
I'm also looking for a new bike, stuck between Pulsar 180 & Xtreme 200R, how is the Pulsar 180?

Xtreme 200 is a new product and I probably cannot comment on that though it looks promising.
P180 has been for a long time now and it has got rear disc as well now. I like the older Pulsar series - P150, P180 and P220. They are easy to live with happily and given adequate care, they do go a long way. They are actually quite cost effective to start with.

Why not opt for bajaj or TVs in 200 category.

I DOn't have need of that much power, also it'd compromise on fuel efficiency & pricing. Now I'm thinking of going with P180 or RTR180. Any suggestions?

Better don't go with 180. Stick to 150 160. If you have dependency on fuel economy.

New rtr 160 4v is better than old rtr180. Why don't you take a look at that bike.
