I've met a few himalayan owners and each one of them had a bad experience with the bike, especially the bs4 one. Although they've rectified the gearbox issue with the new ones, there were other issues with the clutch, engine and hardware. Again, I know I really don't have the rights to downtrod the bike, but this is what I've been told so far.
