    Used R3 vs New Ninja 300

    I am looking for a 300cc Bike for fun weekend ride.

    I am 5’10” and weigh about 85 kg. My usage will be for weekend ride to Mahabs in Chennai.

    I found a 2016 R3 with 22k km on odo asking for 2.2 lakhs. The bike seems to be in good condition but I do not know the owner personally.

    Or should I go with the new Ninja 300 which retails for 3.73 lakhs.

    Your suggestion much appreciated.

    The price of the Ninja 300 have dropped. It retails for 2.98 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) now.
    In Chennai the on-road price should be around 3.3-3.4 lakhs.

      I just checked with the dealer, the on road price of N300 is 3.73 lakhs.

        After some dilemma, I bought an used R3. It’s 2016 Nov model with 11000 km on the odo.

        A detailed review will come soon.
