  • Tork T6X, Electric motor cycle

Since quite some time, there are 2 electric two wheelers have created buzz. Viz Ather and Tork t6X.

I want to switch back from car to motorbike almost after 13 years. Since I have allergic issue due to pollution, I am thinking to buy electric bike (no scooter) if possible - just to contribute to solution of of problem I am victim of (polution)

I registered with their web site but in reply thy have not given even tentative date of launch. Any one here has any idea?

Re: Tork T6X, Electric motor cycle

I'm not quite sure of the launch either but someone told me that they have bookings open on their website( I never really bothered to check the truth regarding the matter). The bike does make sense as far as you're commuting but the low range (200km~) is pretty bad for highway rides. AFAIK, the charger is actually pretty large and can only be set up at your house, so no portable charging either. Doesn't actually make sense for motorcycle enthusiasts who take their motorcycle out on weekend rides. But yes, if people start using it for city commuting, it will really make the pollution level go down in a drastic way! Also shelling out 1.5L for a bike used juat for commuting doesn't make sense.
      Cheerio!
