Hi friends.. I am new to this community and I am glad I am here..

I am 50 years old wanting to by a 350 bull.. I tried the Electra and the Thunder bird..

I rode the TB from Pune to Lonavla as a test drive and fallen in love with it ..

I have one issue with this bull and need your help on it..

    I am 5' 6" tall and a very heavy build.. ( 95 kg )

I felt the bike was tall for me.. But i need to own it.. Can the height of the seat be altered and bring it lower by 2".

I have read a lot of threads and have collected a lot of knowledge on the TB

I am planning to ride to Leh on this bull.. any issues on doing so..

    Please suggest.

    Regards

    Kishor

altering the seat's height by 2" is difficult.

But you can get that 2 inch reduction if go for some 18 inch wheels, may be alloy and tubeless tyres. This will improve acceleration, torque, looks and will give you a wide variety of tyres to choose from. But you will ve to compromise on top end, a bit of mileage and ground clearance.

            Dear Prabhubravo...

            Thanx mate..

It is a good suggestion to reduse the tyre size than do any alteration on the bike.. I want to buy a new TB.. and like it the way it is..

I have visited your web page.. I see you rode the TB 6800 km up north and back..

I am just waiting to get this bull and go..

            Will keep in touch...

If you are from Pune then visit PAWAR SEATS which is in NANA peth he will reduce the seat height properly.....
Fitting 18" rim is jut not possible due to spoke numbers are diff. 19" rim need 36 spokes and 19" rim need 40 spokes so forget the mod....
If you are going to visit leh then stick to spoke wheel rim.

you may not be in a position to alter the seat hight but you can decrease the height of the Shocks...
