Re: FZ 25 ABS or RS 200 ABS?
My vote would be for Fz25. Reasons
Rs200 is now becoming a bit dated. The fairing is a bit too flimsy and it starts to rattle quite soon. The fit and finish also leaves a lot to be desired and the triple spark plugs are nothing more than a marketing gimmick (even the top auto companies think one spark plug is enough for a single cylinder and Bajaj have turned it into swiss cheese. If your tiny single cylinder engine needs 3 spark plugs to burn fuel properly, there is something wrong with its design.) Coming to the positives, the liquid cooling is a big plus, the 6 speed gear box is good and the bike makes decent power and is surprisingly comfortable for city rides.
The FZ on the other hand is vey refined and makes less power for its displacement. But you would be surprised at the acceleration is gives. Perfect for the city riding and filtering through traffic. Oil cooled engine is decent enough but the lack of 6th gear is very disappointing at this price point. But since you will be riding in the city most of the time, it works well. The LED headlights too are disappointing, quite Ok for city night riding not al all for highways, a pair of aux lights would solve the problem. It is super comfy and your hands and wrists will not bear the load, the pillion seat is usable too.
Take test rides of both back to back and then choose the one that suits you the best.I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.
