My name is Goutham. I am not new to motorcycling. Have done my fare share of long distance touring but still find myself in a dilemma.

Age: 33
Purpose: Adventure touring
Budget: Around 4-5 Lacs
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 75 Kg
Fuel efficiency: Nothing particular
City highway usage: Mostly highway
Approx running: monthly 1-2K
Location: Mysore
Brand preference: Nothing particular

I usually tour on mys CBR 250R. Love the bike only draw back is its not suitable for off-roading and hates a pillion.
I was thinking of upgrading to a Yamaha R3 but after a test drive I realised it is just a slightly more powerful CBR and doesn't really justify the investment of about 4.5 over a CBR which doesn't really sell for much on the used bike market.

So i decided to keep the CBR which doubles up as my daily commuter and is capable of touring on the highway as long as its a solo trip and on tarmac.

Now I need a decent adventure tourer for mostly solo but occasional pillion ride. But I don't like heavy and expensive tourers like the tiger.
I am considering the following

RE Himalayan
BMW G 310 GS
Versys 300X (pricing is ridiculous so probably not)
KTM adventure 390 (whenever it is launched)
Maybe an RE interceptor.

I need help. Am I missing something? Or is there really a shortage of options in this category.
People with the above mentioned bike can give their inputs as well.
