Need advice in buying new bike

    Budget Below 1.3L

Had - FZ 150 first gen [Sold]
Later bought an RX 135 - 4 speed. Used for 1.5 years [thought to restore it but its costing above 40k so dropped the plan].
Looking for a reliable bike for a long run.

Shortlisted [Good pillion seat a must] -
    R15S
    Honda X-Blade
    Pulsar NS 160
    Apache 160 4V
    Suzuki Gixxer

Yamaha FZ is not in the because we had a very bad exp after 4 years of use. Like the new FZ Fi but hesitant to buy it.

We had to rebore ....which we did from Yamaha dealership. the bike's throttle response dropped.

i am talking about the first gen FZ which we bought at the time of launch ,,,FZ has come a long way and i hope the new ones are much improved.

OMG, i am in a heavy confusion now.

Bdw, you can checkout xblade abs which is a smooth bike, i myself own 2018 hornet abs, which is a smooth bike too and it's reliable too.

Hey buddy you got the options sorted right. How about you go for a test ride of them all? They all are basically naked bikes so they're all rounders, support commuting, touring as well as slightly spirited riding. A test drive should help settle your mind.

              Happy riding

Drive a well maintained FZ for few days and you will get rid of your current bike sooner than expected.

I will compare both after taking the delivery of fz v3 . From test ride experience, fz has good low end whereas hornet has good midrange + better brakes than fz. Every bike has it's positive and negative aspects.

I thank YAMAHA for kickstarting streetfighter segment in india.

And, fz will always be lord of the streets [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4][emoji38]

Yep confirmed from Suzuki themselves, the frame will be similar to the existing gixxer but with a bigger oil cooler

Anyhow Bigger Gixxer may be an impressive one but we can't expect it to arrive sooner !! If you're planning to buy your motorcycle in Diwali or New year you can wait and go.

Or else you can go ahead with Apache 160 4v / 180 RTR ,Pulsar 220/180, FZ V3, Honda Hornet, Hero Xtreme 200 S !!! and the list goes on.

All these bikes comes with ABS now and are pretty good in segment.
