Spare parts availability between Yamaha Fazer 250, Dominar 400 & CBR 250R
Since I believe that a good availability of spare parts is key to a peaceful ownership experience, I would like to know which of these bikes have the easiest availability of spare parts- Fazer 250, Dominar 400 and Cbr 250r. I am especially interested in the Dominar 400. For example, how long do you have to wait for the spare parts ? Please exclude normal consumables like brake pads, sprockets, cables or air filters. I am more interested in those parts which might need replacement due to malfunction or an accident.

Re: Spare parts availability between Yamaha Fazer 250, Dominar 400 & CBR 250R
Availability of parts would entirely depend on which part of the country you are in.
In Tier 1 cities and metros, parts should be easily available.
I have very good experience with Honda. Here in Bangalore, they have all most all parts for CBR 250R readily available (including fairing). Same goes for the CBR 650F which has been replaced by CBR 650R.
I cannot say the same for Yamaha, as getting parts for my R3 is a pain. Anything beyond the regular parts is a back order which means minimum 2 weeks of waiting.
Not sure about Bajaj as I do not like the brand due to their quality related issues and reliability, hence not interested. Have faced multiple issues with my Discover 125 DTS-i.Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally -> 2020

The advantage of owning a Bajaj is that for some reason if you are unable to source/arrange spares locally then you order Genuine spares online from www.99rpm.com2005 HH Karizma [SOLD]

2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 ABS Matte Black [Current]

Getting Bajaj spares is easier and more cost effective. That's the best part owning a Bajaj. CBR is a dead product and it may get axed any time. Fazer 25 is another dead product not producing results that the Fazer 150 did.Regards,

Yamaha needs to be taught a lesson for India. Don't mint money from Indians and don't give us rubbish.Regards,

Don't write my Fazer 25 off so heartlessly yet...I am yet to start my tenure of touring with it. As they say it's not about the ride, it's about the rider. Besides all that, underneath the clothing it's as much a wolf as an FZ25.

You seem to have real dislike for Fazer 25...Originally posted by #bpk View PostAlso Fazer is ugly AF [emoji23][emoji23]
It does not look ugly in Black colour, I was also kind of shocked when I saw that hideously designed fairing in red, cyan colour but when I saw it in black; I bought it. Because it has great side profile & front looks better in black, it takes time to grow on you though as we are used to conventional face of faired bikes.

Black looks good ! But, fazer will be discontinued soon, like fazer 150 . People will spend more and buy gixxer instead [emoji23][emoji23]. Your bike is in danger !Originally posted by burnoutdee View PostYou seem to have real dislike for Fazer 25...

Ha ha ha...u r mistaken my friend. My bike is not in danger.Originally posted by #bpk View PostBlack looks good ! But, fazer will be discontinued soon, like fazer 150 . People will spend more and buy gixxer instead [emoji23][emoji23]. Your bike is in danger !
My last bike was Hero Impulse which was discontinued just couple of months after I bought it, yet I toured on it extensively & sold it after riding 80k+ KMs in a great condition. So you can imagine how this FZ25's unloved twin is going have good time with me. Fazer may not have looks but it has got character & not a shallow one at that.
