Don't even think about UM, dealerships are shutting down and there are 0 dispatches from the factory for two months now. I suggest you look at other motorcycles.

If you read reviews online, you'll learn very quickly that the quality issues feature in buyers' reviews overwhelmingly. RE has quality issues too, but with UM, the bar is really, really, abysmally low - like the engine overheating within minutes, broken engine, bikes being faulty from day 1 and so on. It makes you wonder what kind of quality measures UM has in place (or rather their CKD supplier in China).

If you have been following the news lately, UM - Lohia partnership has been in rough waters and they are parting ways. This is yet to be officially announced. Rajeev Mishra quit UM in March 2019 and has reportedly joined Revolt electric motorcycles.

Expect your motorcycle to be a lemon (I'll guarantee this to you a 100%), and you'll get zero support if you buy any UM product. Curiously enough, the reasons why they are exiting the market and the manner in which they treat the customers is EXACTLY THE SAME as what they ) did in the US between 1997 and 2009.

Note: They were registered here as "UM Of America" a "Powersports Distributor" for Chinese brands -- note that the word manufacturer is significantly missing. And they never had a "USA based" claim while they were operating here in the US since the laws here are strict. They have no operations here currently, and are registered now in Florida as a "Foreign Limited Liability Co." which itself means they are not US Based.
